    Reason why they sell for more is because they are not making new ones and you now have alot of people who are upgrading there ddr systems and do not want to change out the cpu/motherboard and so they need better memory. You also have alot of stores who will use the older ddr systems and they have been upgrading there systems so they will work faster but they do not want to replace all the computers (being cheap)
