    oh, and from what I hear...DO NOT jump into the gold refining forum and ask that...they will not be kind. They expect you to READ EVERYTHING 1st including the book (kinda like the beginners bible) they mention before even ASKING something there.

    As others have said...this is NOT like youtube. Even people highly trained in chemistry can get themselves into trouble. The problem is, with those chemicals it can mean chemical burns, lungs turned into jelly, explosions and even death....ie it is a BAD BAD idea unless you know EXACTLY what the F%^K you are doing and have professional equipment. Even if you did, most people can only recover part of the gold, so alot gets left on the table.

    If you actually have ALOT of stuff (100's or 1000's of pounds) then go the refiner method mentioned. The assay's are expensive to run to even know what you might have. You also need someone that is a KILLER rep to help you with the process.
