It's an air tube GM (catalytic converter). It's priced on our buy list at $52 (Medium GM). That's what we would pay as for a full catalytic converter-not empty.

Odd how they differ from the UK catalytic converters, as this looks like a volvo or mitsubishi one missing the heat shield. If it has a ceramic monolith inside I think it's probably going to be worth a fair bit more than $52. I'd be prepared to match that and pay for payment for UK shipment so we can assay it if it's any interest to you?

We could then show a true value for these so called air tube GM's.

If you take a look on the lip running around the edge you will see a part number engraved where the lip tapers off towards the exhaust pipe. If you can find that code I could probably give you an accurate price before sale!

If it is a GM cat it should have GM followed by 2 or 3 numbers engraved into the lip running around the edge, or it might have a code starting with 55. Whatever the result, try find that code and I will assist you in a bit of a more accurate pricing.
