the transformers are the larger square things with the round middles on the brown boards. Personally I only make a few cents more a pound than my brown board prices so I don't even mess with them. Best way to get them off unless you have a board heater is a chisel and a hammer to "cut" the soldered legs from the board (typically 6 of them). Again depends on the $$$ you get for copper bearing..
I personally don't care because the $$ I get for the other ewaste stuff FAR outpaces the time I would spend messing with that stuff...ie a few cents a pound for copper bearing vs a couple $$ a pound for many green board stuff. YMMV. Basically working smarter and not as hard for WAY more $$ for the time invested.
