    One of the (2) local scrap yards I use just started accepting computer plastic. They don't pay for it, but they also don't charge. Works out good since I go by there anyway and keeps it from the municipal site (they don't recycle that type of plastic, it just gets hauled off with other non-recyclables *and* they charge to dump it). To the OP, keep looking and ask questions, you never know when an opportunity will become available.
