    LCD boards that connect to the glass

    All I'm looking for is to know what these are called. After searching and searching and searching, I think I know. Problem is, when I don't know what something is called it's often hard to come up with the proper keywords to find it.



    I think they are called "column driver boards" and "row driver boards." They come off of the LCD screens in both monitors and laptops. Am I correct? I thought I saw someone call them "runner boards" in another thread, but all my searches under that term come up with the kind that gets attached to SUV vehicles and pickup trucks.

    On lcd tvs they generally are referred to as x or y axsis controllers since they handle the x or y set of pixels. Not real sure on lcd monitors however.

    I started getting a bunch of these, starting calling them "trim boards"
