    I talk a little about TA caps on the third post on page 5 of this thread. I leave them on the boards but I do remove eproms. It doesn't take take long to get a pound of eproms. I'm still wondering how much time it takes to get a pound of TA caps.

    I'm with you on that one. When the optical boards arn't worth my time then leaving TA caps is likely to stay on the boards. Also I don't get alot of boards that are heavily populated with them. To those who do I trust it's becaise it's best for you and your business. Mike

    I believe he was talking about the tantalum caps.

    If I could get 100 bucks a pound for them I might consider removing them from boards.
