Boiling in water the heavy's create a crust of metals on the bottom of a cast iron pan. In the video copper is being volatilized giving a green flame, in video 2 my channel nickle giving off a blue flame.

It seems unlikely. There isn't enough physical gold available to back an international reserve currency that could meet the needs of an expanding global economy. You need an inflatable fiat currency for that task.
The problem with a gold backed currency is that inevitably .... too much of the available wealth pool inevitably becomes concentrated in the hands of the ultra wealthy. There's not enough money circulating in the free market and economic activity stalls out. It happened to us here in the states with the onset of the Great Depression in the 1930's. That's the most probable reason for why it was necessary for the USD to begin going off the gold standard.
Ummmm ... you kinda jacked your own electronics thread when you posted pics of your truck Jim. The train of thought jumped the tracks and went tumbling down the mountainside.
Maybe we can set it to right again ?
How are things going for you with the e-waste these days ?
It's pretty slow on my end. It's mostly tv's and printers these days. The juice really isn't worth the squeeze on those ones.
Well hills since I've been in the phone and computer business since 84 it's still good. When you make as many service calls as I do you get to know people. Many customers have old equipment laying about and don't know what to do with it. It's only part time for me but it keeps the garage full most of the time.
Alloy, is the Yamaha FJ1200 an 86? It looks like it's in good shape.
Yes, it was a stolen recovery auctioned off by the insurance company.
Sold cheap on the yard cleanup, Japanese bikes do not hold their value as they change every couple of years with new models while the British bikes appreciate in value.
By the way nice truck, hope you find the time to get her running again and back on the road.
