    I found that if I cut thru a silver plated wire, the outer silver layer slips down over the copper face & it makes it look like its solid silver. Even with a magnifying glass.



    The best way to check is to notch it a little & bend the wire over & over till it breaks. You get to see the copper end face, its crystal structure & colour & the outer silver layer if its thick enough.

    Is that the sheet thats attached to a ink jet cartridge? With the little gold plated contacts cut off?
