    SmartBoards

I picked up a few SmartBoards yesterday and have no idea what to do with them. There isn't a whole lot of scrap value in them except for a few high grade boards. However, these sell for $2,500+ brand new, so I'd imagine there's a market for broken ones to be refurbished and sold. Does anyone know of a company that buys broken ones to fix? I really don't want to scrap them out for $5 in boards if I don't have to.

There's nothing more fun and more effective than hitting something repeatedly with a sledgehammer

Why are they broken? If are each broken for different reasons, you can switch parts.

just a wild idea here, but what if maybe contact the manufacturer, or maybe the place that marketed them, not asking for resales possibilities, but a place for repairs. If you're lucky this far and find some possibilities, talk to them, and ask if they need any parts ; )

I don't many people are in the same boat as you. I saw 8 of these go at auction for $1 each a couple months ago. No one knows what to use them for i guess.

That's something to look into, but I think most if not all of them have bad boards. Plus, they're all different sizes and one isn't even SmartBoard brand.

That sucks. Were they working? That's probably less than you could scrap them for.

Good idea, but I don't know what I'd do with working ones either. I don't think these are something I could post on Craigslist and sell because the average person has no use for one. I also can't find any used or refurbished buyers for them. I think my only hope is that they need the parts
