The Cast was a PITA to unload today. OmniSource wanted a letter from the company I got it from releasing it to me, and weren't interested in my business card. Not like I am unknown to them, I am on a friendly first name basis with the buyers. Business is business I guess....and I didn't feel like screwing around unloading my truck and arranging to pick up a permission slip, so I took it out of Marion County where the law is a little more lenient. Got .38¢ lb instead of .45¢, but the $20 difference was worth unloading the truck one time and not bugging my connection for something on corporate letterhead. Omnisource missed out on some sweet sweet clean heavy cast, as far as I am concerned.



The PBX ended up being 235lbs of cast. Less than 100 lbs steel in it. Probably 10-15 lbs wire (mainly crappy ribbon) and close to 10lb of gold connector ends. Haven't weighed the backplanes yet, but they look sweet.
