    The heat sinks on those are copper. Not sure what they are coated with on the outside but probably Tin. Gold is used in electronics to protect connections from corrosion. There is no reason to protect a heat sink in this manner.

    The most popular consensus on the clad is to be nickel. But again ,don't know for sure?
