I think you need about 1000lbs to be worth using freight. I usually box up about 65lbs in a box and ship it fedex. Some of the buyers on here will prepay the shipping and deduct it form the payout. You also get thier shipping discount that way.
I used freight for about 600 lbs and the price was about $150 lower than it would have been through Fedex ($220 for freight, or 28 cents per pound, vs $360ish for Fedex), so freight might be worth looking into for that many boards. If each computer has an estimated 2 lbs of boards and other shippable material, that's over one ton of boards.
As for weighing it all, I'd either do what Mechanic suggested or ask your local scrap yard about using their non-ferrous scale to weigh it. Maybe bribe the scale guy with a box of donuts or something.
