Yes they are gold plated, they call those redundant power supplies. Some look like like blades others will have a gold finger or solid strip of plating on them. On the bladed ones you will have to open the power supply and pull them off. On the fingered ones you can snap them off. Then after that you can sell them as power supplies like the ones from towers. I get .40# for those power supplies.
