I know how bad I would feel to find out that something I posted resulted in a severe injury or even killing someone down the line.
Sometimes you have to "beat them" with facts, gently.
If I offended you, get over it, or not!
Mech, I believe I said:
I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE TRYING TO DO. I GET THAT. SAFETY, SAVING LIVES, BEING RESPONSIBLE. I UNDERSTAND THAT 100%. THOSE ISSUES ARE NOT WHAT I WAS REFERRING TO.
What was I referring to you ask? The way certain members of SMF treated the OP. It could've been handled a little better and with a lot fewer words. That's all. This guy was told that he shouldn't even be asking any questions. The questions he did ask were wrong. He was called stupid and he was told he better get his sh** together. I could go on and on and on. He was treated bad. All that could've been avoided simply by stating the warnings and guiding him to GRF. He was way more than just "gently beat with facts".
You say: he and a couple others have already went down the refining path and there are certain rules and procedures that have to be followed. They are our resident experts.
When did SMF become a gold refining forum? I do not see that catagory here. Am I missing something? So please explain to me why we need "resident experts" in gold refining.
Did you offend me with your choice of words in your praise of one certain member here? Eh, maybe a little. Did I lose one second of sleep over it? Not one bit. Do I agree with it? Not one bit.
If I offended you, get over it, or not!
