If it is more modern stuff there is way more than scrap value. If it is just old stuff that been on a shelf for 5 or 10 years best bet is either sell it to someone local or ship it of to one of the buyers listed here.

I'm not entirely sure of the age of these components, but I think they may be on the older side. I've had them setting in a corner of my shop in bins for about four years. Some of the packaging and some of the boards have dates as far back as 1988 and I've found dates on some chips in the early 90's. I've seen some posts on other sites that have said the older the parts are the higher percentage of precious metals. Any thoughts?
