Removing screws/standoffs from motherboards to take the end bracket off

I might be wrong but I think Puntfarmer is talking about the little hex screws that hold the steel plate on the mother board. The screws are next to the conector blugs on the board. I have a small socket that fits them and goes in my cordless screwdriver and I can zip them right out.

thats how i do those too, there is also a pressed in type of standoff
