TIVO 2 DVR Mainboard Question

Most buyers call them mid grade and pay less than rainbow MoBo but I've got two buyers that will let me slip them in with MoBo. I usually buy a couple hundred lbs. a month from my TV guys out of projection TVs. Some of them have lots more metal shielding and can be a PITA. There are a couple of ways to clean them the most painless way is to desolider with a crack torch

but easy to get burned and the molten solider ends up every where so wear an apron.
A sharp chisel is another way but you end up cutting off components if your not really careful. The last batch I used an ax, dykes, and a torch.

Thinking I'll pop em off and toss em in the shred. Hoping the mainboard will fetch a decent price. It's got 2 S-video, 2 USb, an RJ11, and RJ45 connectors on it too, plus an IDE connector and imbedded CPU

They're definitely not Rainbow, from all I can find it seems to be a full fledged green motherboard, although I'm still wondering what extent of prep would be required

Are you referring specifically to TIVO Motherboards here?
