The pentium d's are a good value for the price, thats what i would recommend to someone that needs a desktop and is on a tight budget as you can build out a loaded one under $100. They are not worth the effort to get them going for resale purposes so its best to scrap out the non running ones. Put the running ones on craigslist at $60 and they wont last long. I would recommend finding a cpu buyer for the cpus though. My buyer pays $4-$10 on the standard pentium d's. The 950 and 960 go for quite a bit more so check for those.
