You will want to keep your boxes just under 70 pounds total weight. so aim for 65 pounds of material.

Should not need to buy boxes. I never do. Boxes are everywhere. You can find moving boxes offered for free all the time on Craig's list or freecycle. I get many from work. So many places to get free boxes.

When you find some boxes, take a look at the bottom of them. There is a circle with some information in it. One of the numbers will be the weight limit you can pack in it. Make sure you stay under that or a picky fed ex guy will leave it set until you repack it. Trust me, It has happened to me.

Hope that is a good start for some shipping information.
