    If you can do better by shipping it, do it I've always found it helpful, while I was checking shipping rates of a particular box size, to fiddle around some with higher weights etc, to see how much more weight i could pack in there before the price changed. You'll be surprised sometimes, if you try this, how much more weight you can sometimes pack
