What "reliable sources" are you looking for? If you want to know if it is worth breaking them down and shipping the boards, etc, to a buyer it depends on what your time is worth. I mostly break down computers and electric motors. I do it part time for a hobby that pays and is interesting and provides me with some needed exercise. I understand you have a scrap yard so you might best collect the material and sell whole units to others like me and others here on the forum. I am assuming you aquired the hord of computers paying shred price so selling them at $3-$5 per computer would be a money maker and not take up much labor on your part.

If you have employees with more time than work you may want to get into the breaking down of the computers. So without more information than you would most likely want to share its difficult to give any real advice. Of course there is the old standby, read the old threads on this forum. Start with the sticky threads, read the electronics forum also the buyers/sellers forum. You will notice the many reviews that our member/buyers receive from those who have sold to them. I hope I have been helpful, Mike.
