I actually was having a crappy day a couple of years ago and the guy ahead of me in a checkout line was yapping on his flip phone in a checkout line with a sign saying no cell phone use in line. He was ignoring the cashier and yapping away while it was his turn. I still can't believe I did this but I grabbed his phone and flipped it shut.
The guy spun around with an angry look on his face but I guess my look told him not to push it. The dangerous mood was broken when other patrons began to applaud. He grinned, I grinned, we apologized to one another and concluded our business, shaking hands before we left.
