Those pages are mostly written by people who are hoping for your clicks. They not only make a few pennies off the advertising on the page itself, but also for everyone who clicks one of the links from their page.
With all due respect, is there anything inherently wrong with that? While I agree that the content is gobblydo, if the author scrounges a few cents, what are they doing wrong? The landing sites are paying him...they're going to pay for advertising somewhere, someway. Why not him? If the guy is clever enough to make a few cents off the drivel he writes, this is America! More power to him.
