    Calculator Boards

    Any thread on this yet? If so, I cant find it.

    What grade of boards do you think most T.I calculatos have? What about other scientific calcs?

    Looks like at least #3 Motherboard/Motherboard/Peripheral depending on the buyer. Kind of hard to tell if the button contacts are gold from the picture. If you had a bunch you might get a bit higher grade out of them.

    If you come across a calculator called:
    Busicom 141-PF

    Treat if very nicely.....
    Busicom was a Japanese company that owned the rights to the first microprocessor, the Intel 4004, which they created in partnership with Intel in 1970.

    This is probably well known here, but just in case:
    An Intel C4004 microprocessor goes for several hundred dollars for a single chip. It's one of the most valuable microprocessors out there.

    Some of the most collectible early ICs are in vintage calculators from the 70s.
