    The center conductor has only a miniscule coating of copper. Cut the ends off the wire & throw them in your brass bucket (they ARE brass under the chrome coating). The cable itself has virtually no value. There are lots better ways to spend your time scrapping.

    i don't know about law in the states, but in my country i dont think it is illegal.

    I just figured out the problem - the translator. What he's typing, probably shouldn't be translated as "pyrolize".
