I agree dealing in scrap cars is very competitive, but $500.00 for a carcass - Wow.



I'm paying $50.00 for complete cars and trucks, I can leave the fuel tank and tires on.

All I remove is the catalytic, radiator copper or aluminum plus any aluminum rims and a bit of wiring and all the relays from the fuse box for the precious metals contacts.

Since the price of cars, tin and heavy melt is all the same I stuff the cars to get some extra weight into them.

I have no competition, and all the cars I can handle, people dropping into my yard daily selling me their old junkers. I'm actually thinking about making a call to the guy I sold my crane truck to, then ask if he would consider selling it back to me. I could stack three cars onto it.
