    I've recently tore down a few of these. Check the pump, could be cast brass. The electric motor could be good to harvest copper if that's what you are into and a good cast AL housing. Otherwise they are time consuming to take out the bolts and misc steel but once you get em apart they pay ok, if the bolts are seized - hammer time. Or take plastic etc. off and sell with motors. Overall some brass, cast AL, elec motor, plastic.

    Sounds good to me, man. I don't personally mess with tearing the motors down. I've got a pile of them collecting dust in the basement, though; my yard won't pay for them, and I need to check around the area. They said to "Throw it in with your shred." Yeah, no.
