If you can find a buyer of "Escrap or ewaste" they will pay you better for the boards. Over here their worth $11. -12. a lb.
The H.D.s theirselves have alum or stainless tops, alum/platters, alum/SS spacers, neodymium magnets, and a cast alum bottom case.
Take a little while to tear down but quite a bit of value there to take to the scrapyard.
