    Are you sure they are brass and not copper...never saw a brass heatsink. Any pics? What did it come out of?

    Honestly I don't know what it came off. I have a dirty heatsink bucket and I clean them when it's full. I will have to dig it out and post a picture. It felt heavy so I hit it with the grinder and found out.
    I have seen copper heatsinks as well.
