    The tube holds juice for sure . cut the red wire & never touch tv wile you cut it - just cut fast with insulated lines men . crack yoke & also never touch whilst you do that also. don't breath till complete
    Just so you know, the "juice" is also contained in the capacitors on the circuit board. That's why I recommend a ground strap made out a piece of 12-10 ga stranded wire and a pair of clamps off of a junk battery charger. Clamp one end to something metal and the other end to an insulated screwdriver, use the screwdriver to brush across the caps. on the bottom of the board to discharge them then you can stick the end of the driver under the suction cup on the tube. Or you could buy one of these,,
