So today was a good day. Saw a listing for a microwave and replied. The guy said it has been setting on his front porch and no one will take it off his hands. So I knew this ment it was a old one. I told him no problems I will take it.
So I load up and head out. I get there and can see it is a big one. I go up and pick it up and had to set it back down LOL! :eek: I thought to myself geeze what does this thing weight?? If the guy was watching outside his window I am sure he was laughing at me. I stagered down the steps and to the car. Get it loaded and then start to head home. I turn the corner and bam a tv setting on the side of the curb, score!. So I get the tv loaded up and now my car is packed. I head it on home.
Kept thinking to myself what did that microwave weight. So came home and googled it. All I could find out is that it is 20 years old and aprroxamatly 56 lbs. It use to be 80 lbs is all I could lift, now 56 is my limit LOLThe day I have to get a dolly to lift a microwave is the day I need to quit doing this job
