That is what I would call a wonderful load of Batteries.... wow... were they all in one location? Your load has to be approx 2- 1/4 Ton ? either way that's a heavy haul of lead for sure.

No, I bought them here and there. Usually 3-4 at a time. Some I got free. I've gotten as many as 116 at one place but that was another load. You see those deep cell ones (tall, light colored up front up)? I got 12 of those at once.Originally Posted by GreenTruckR
On this load there 95 car/Lt truck batteries - average weight 34.5 lb; 14 Heavy Truck (class 31) - 52 lbs ea; and 12 Deep Cycle - 42 lb. Plus a few Lawn and Garden batteries and computer backup batteries. So, I figured at least 4525 ( 2 1/4 tons) plus pallets and 4x4's I'm using for rails. Trailer Payload is 4980 pounds so I actually have some left.
