    $1.70 wasn't a good price for brass when copper was $4.50, we got about $2.60. When copper went down to $3 lb SIMS was paying $1.70. Sounds like your yard were taking a juicy cut at the peak and now it's dropped they probably think they can't do a similar % drop or they wouldnt get anyone selling to them.
