    People who scrap might just have to register as a type of contractor most likely $600 each 2 years that will consist of state licensing that will have a need to renew each 2 years . Liability insurance . Also theroiticaly you might only be able to get copper from town you have license . In NY you need a separate contractor license to do work in Nassau county Suffolk county Queens Brooklyn NYC & in some case each town is very close to each other so a truly busy contractor has to spend lots of money each year. to work in NY legal

    You can do that ? Just say you're an electrician or plumber or general contractor and they will give you a license? You don't have to take tests or prove anything?
