    My first e-scrap haul

Picked it all up on Craigslist for free from one guy. It's all old server stuff and 4 old printers. Had a bunch of extra RAM and bags of cables. Stoked!

What does your age have to do with scoring a good load? Some times you come across as a professional they want to do business with, and sometimes you just get lucky.

    Thanks guys.

Yeah, the only thing that my age affected was my ability to drive 20 minutes and pick the stuff up. I constantly check the free section of Craigslist (so much that my fiancée wants to smash my phone sometimes). I had just missed 2 large, metal items posted right on my street when I came across the computer stuff. Next morning it was all mine. I've had a lot of "almost's" in the free section, but this one actually worked out.

I saw a homeless guy a few weeks ago scrapping on a bicycle with a homemade trailer. It made me realize that I need to just work with what I've got for now and be as resourceful as I can.

I've worked on cars for most of my life so I've amassed a pretty good collection of tools over the years. I was speaking more in generality and about stuff I still need to work up to, like a truck and trailer.
