    As far as I remember all dumpsters are on some kind of private property. Even out in the middle of a parking lot. That lot is owned by somebody.

    Has anyone had the police called and they actually show up?

    Yeah everything is private property pretty much..... Well i was going by how you said the guy sold the property. So Its like going onto someones property ya know.

    For dumster diving I prefer the rental places personally, ya know like strip mall type buildings. the company's rent the buildings so its not like they actually "own" that property and the employees/mgmt. dont really care unless you make a mess. they dont even know your them 95% of the time.
