It's kinda sad. I think we all have to compromise ourselves to some degree or another on our regular day job. We're not all that different from the working gal on the street corner. Sometimes ... you gotta do what you gotta do to make that paycheck and pay the bills every month.
I feel no shame in collecting metal and
e-waste part time, or if I had to/wanted to I would feel no shame doing it full time either. I
would feel genuine shame doing nothing or something dishonest for my wife, son and self to survive.
I just think it's funny, I guess I am a part time hooker by definition (to a point) both with scrap metal/e-waste and IT contract work, and sometimes with my full time career - a full time hooker. LOL
