    "new" trailer

After the great Ford truck loading fiasco of a couple of weeks ago, I decided that I needed a tilt trailer sooner than later. SO I began searching.

IN the middle of my search mother nature decided to poop on my yard. SO much rain and snow making my yard in to a muddy morass of hopelessness. Nothing 2wd can come beyond the safety of the small gravel driveway.

Wednesday I found almost what I wanted. So we took a ride up to Hickory and dragged it home.

Note the swamp like conditions of my property. Fortunately it won't be mine much longer. A lithium mining company found lithium on it. Woo hooo.

I wanted an electric hydraulic setup, but there was not one available in my area in my price range. I have a buddy who is a hydraulic guru. We are formullating a plan to change it out.

Yesterday we used it twice. I can tell you that if the car has tires it takes longer to jack the bed up than it does to load it.

And last night we went and got this big white turd.

Even without tires it slid right on up in about 15 minutes.

The tiny 3500 pound winch and 3 snatch blocks got it yanked aboard. I have a 10,000 pound winch that I will be putting on it.

But tomorrow it is going to rain again. I may trade the Suburban in on a swamp boat.
