I just got ~10 large IBM systems with beefy power supplies today, not sure if any of those would work for your needs

    Pleasure doing business with ya!

And for everyone else I'm still buying. 750w+ server PSU with the finger/slot style pictured above(doesn't have to be exact). Price depends on Watts and efficiency rating.

Email me pics and we'll work out the price ripweed351 at gmail dot com

Listening to this really good podcast "Cautionary Tales" as I plop copper into my buckets.

"we teach tell our children unsettling fairy tales to teach them valuable life lessons, but these cautionary tales are for the education of grown ups"

If anyone is going to check it out I suggest starting with the first season.

Intersting!! I have about 3/4 of a small gaylord of server PSU. Please send me a pm with rough estimates on pricing. Not sure if it would be worth shipping small quantities from Massachusetts.

Ok so these are some transformers for X-ray machines of some kind. It doesn't look like they came out of a hospital...Maybe like a freight or luggage xray machine? Anyone know by chance?

Then I have what should be a fuller container of motherboards for JJinLV! woot woot! When its full I'm driving it up to Vegas myself!

My map shows that to be about 6.5 hours one way. Go see JJinLV, stay a couple of nights in a hotel and then drive back. Mini vacation man.

Leaving the fam at home this trip but I do have a good friend in Henderson I'm going to see after I drop off with JJ.

I prefer driving at night especially in the summer months so I'll end up outside vegas in the early morning, catch a few zzzz's and then head to JJs when the sun wakes me up.

After JJs i'm heading to my friends place to spend the afternoon then I'll get back on the road around sunset.

Never did make that trip to vegas to sell boards to JJ...I've just been stacking more and more boards.

I havent been buying very much but the few resellers I get scrap from have been keeping me busy enough(at least one load a week to the yard sometimes 2).

Kinda hard to justify buying more when I still have like 800 PCs needing to be broken down. Just cant seem to get to them lol!

Little guys favorite thing is to see the excavators and fork lifts at the yard and to unsort my boards haha!

My equipment is paid for so I will mine as long as it pays more than the electric. If it becomes unprofitable for a long enough period I will build some gaming systems with my 30 series cards.

Well I shut off my GPUs after ETH switched to proof of stake(a few months after my last post).

Ran them a bit over the winter to heat my office.

I sold enough crypto at $45k BTC $2.7k ETH to pay for my investment in GPUs (about $30k).

If GPU mining doesn't become profitable by November im taking about 16 GPUs and building gaming systems.

Sweet not a big crypto guy here just saw the market was crashing hard.....actually might be more profitable at lower prices.....seems like I do better when scrap/fuel/goods are lower than these high scrap prices along with high costs of fuel/goods

Yeah we get more yield when the market is making big moves up or down.

If it goes much lower some people will stop being profitable. If network difficulty goes down the remaining miners yield more in that case as well.

I sold off my older less efficient GPUs when the market was way up and now im on all 30 series RTX.

Between all newer GPUs and paying under the national average for electric im definitely more profitable than most hobby miners.

I bet if i searched we probably have a crypto thread already. Or maybe i'll start my own and keep this one scrap.

As far as what ive been doing scrap wise...

Never did break down all my PC's.

Sold em for 0.28(no ram no CPU), bought the FTX crash dip and made 40% on my BTC haha.

Actually found a decent local buyer for boards so ive sold my stash and beginning to refill my IBC totes.
