Oh yea, I need one too. The bed of my pickup was a bit lower to the ground than I would like on my last trip.

Cheap trailer, a collapsible Sears trailer. At one time it had 2 ft. side boards, a tilt bed and was licensed for paved roads. Just a thought for those with a small vehicle and a large scrap appetite. Other possible sources might be JC Whittney, Harbor Freight, ????????

Give back more to this world than we take.

Going to pick up that old rotten RV trailer, it has one 3500 lb axle with electric brakes. I've made arrangements with the town to demo the trailer at the landfill, at first they wanted a $150.00 demo permit with another $100.00 for a tipping fee.

Told her not going to happen and that I would leave it where it sat, she then asked where it was so after giving the address she thought it would be a good idea to beautify the town by having it removed. yea the walls are so rotten they have let loose from the floor and are bulging away from the trailer.

Now I'm a good Samaritan she decided to waive the demo permit with a $50.00 tipping fee, told her I could live with that.

I just want the trailer frame to haul my Allis 720 to a few local vintage tractor shows. Have to weld in a few more cross members into the frame then put some decent planking on it for the deck.

If I remember to take my camera will post a few pictures of this gem.

Also, the one i have is a paddle one that cannot be locked in the on position and my arm gets fatigued using it for prolonged periods of time. I would also like a bigger vise and if I really had the money I would like to rewire my garage for 220 so I can get a better compressor and install a vacuum/filtration system.
I have a vice if you want to drop by and pick it up. Scrap Metal Forum discount.... Free

For out AZ friend, the offer to pick up, while sincere, was a bit of a joke. If you are around and want one of my vices, same scrap metal forum discount for you. I live in Sarasota.

Harbor Freight... I went to look for a link, but did not find one. They did sell a 4x8 for 300 or so

They have a bad reputation for selling tools that last only 2 or 3 days ( industrial use ). I would hate to see how long their tow-behinds would hold out !
