    Like wine as weights age they add more value, offer the guy $40 and see what you get. If they are old They could have some vintage value but other than that scrap metal price is what you would get. And if you get them It is likely he may have other stuff he wants to get rid of, but you have to ask if he has other metal or electronic items that he may want to get rid of while you are here!
