    What you described are "high yield" boards. They can sell for $5 - $25 per pound ( depending on type and buyer ). The layer of gold ( even in old stuff ) is not very thick.

    I would guess 50lbs if this^^ could bring 1 oz of 24k gold? Possably 25lbs? (I know that is a big difference in poundage). Any other guesses?

    I don't think you would get an oz of 24k gold out of 500 pounds of boards like those.
