I've sold blue "phone" cable as #2 insulated Cu here (last load such wire was 50 cents a pound). The maint. electrician folks at work are pulling lots of blue stuff out of various areas and its going into the dumpster. I cornered the facilities manager during the winter and asked why scrap value stuff was being thrown away. He said he'd check into it. I guess he never did. A waste...
