    While helping clear the scrap pile i found this 1/2 drill in the dirt. This is the data plate on the side of this monster.


    The cord was long gone and the trigger switch was busted. Upon opening it up the bearings were long rusted solid so I salvaged the armiture and copper windings out of it. The case was cast aluminum so that will go in my aluminum pile. This beast was very heavy and I couldn't imagine using this anywhere but mounted to a press.

    I would bet that if you could remove that name plate without damaging it, you could sell it on ebay for >$20. I will have to make sure I check garage sales for tools with vintage plates.
