    The wonder of copper

People who sell scrap copper to yards often take for granted how special copper is .
On my trash job as i fill truck i have 2 ropes i clasp to eye hooks & after about 8 months
the metal clasps broke off ( they look like dog leash clasps ) I realize there are better clasps
but this story is about Copper .
So in a pinch I needed a way to finish the day . I had a five foot long solid copper with plastic casing - I figure 6 ga
I tied it to base eye hook and thread it into the ropes
looped end . I figured that will hold me over till tomorrow . Well tomorrow is going on 8 months and it is the best system. Day after day , I bend it , tie it,
and it looks not the least bit worn .
    Long live copper .
