360's are a tough fix and sell item as Microsoft put in securities to not allow them to be "fixed"
It was to deter modding the machine and going online with it
They can be fixed but any of these securities are broken and the machine goes online and it gets picked up, it will be permanently banned from that service.
For example swapping a broken disk tray with one from another machine will break one of these securities as there is a code marrying each board to each disk tray.
Talking with a very good computer tech he says there may be a chance that they only used so many of these codes so it may be possible to get lucky... take it for what it's worth

If you want to fix them to sell to someone who has no intention of going online EVER that is fine.
wanted to put this up for anyone considering fixing them and their customer calls a week later with "Problems".

There ain't nothing wrong with an honest days work. Anyone who says otherwise is a fool.- Old Man
