Patriot, I know how ya feel. I got a whopping $50/ton for my meager load yesterday. It was mixed with prepared and shred.
Didn't have a lot to haul but threw some alum and copper wire in the back of the truck. Got $67 for the trailer full and another $39 for my non ferrous. The hundred mile trip (one way) was filled with other reasons to go. I'm now telling everyone that I'll pick up their junk but can't pay for it as my local yard won't pay for shred either.
