Hey everybody , I need some help finding a buyer . If it goes thru I wil take car of ya . I'm in S Jersey in Gloucester . I have 3 spiral wound spring ring motors at 150 hp each . They ares almost 5' tall and 3' across . They ere designed to be at up vertically impeller out of the Bottom. By design they have 20% more copper . Also these work and I talked to the engineer at continental electric motor co .
In N Jersey . Also they weigh 4k lbs each that's right from the maker and it was built to spec to sit on top of a pump
So can anyone refer me to somebody ? The best I got was .20 a pound in today's prices becaûse of the weight . We need a little more per lb.i see prices at scrap monster , but we all know yards step on it as it changes hands 5x til it his the dock . Even our big guys here aren't doing past.20 can somebody hook me up w/ somebody ? You will get taken care of. Thanks

PS starters and alternators are or were getting what we want .(me and partner ) got trucks to move them and you can check them out at our yard / office / shop .

Are these motors still usable? Are they all the same, as in identical, used for the same thing? From what you describe, it sounds like they are vertical mount pump motors?

If they are reusable, get me a couple of photos-I especially need the nameplate information. I can have a look and maybe get you a few names to check with.

    Jon.
