Just imagine if we begin to spend on infrastructure. Employment (good jobs) goes up. Spending goes up, creating even more jobs. And dare I say it??? Scrap prices go up too.

I appreciate every person that has served our country in the military. I really do. But, we are not fighting wars over atrocities committed all over the world. We fight war for profit. Period! Every foreign military base we operate is protecting oil fields.

Sorry Old Dude. I'm not the one who started this though
I would suggest fact checking. Look into the national budget to see how & where the money is being spent. Also ... there should be a list of military bases somewhere. To the best of my knowledge there are no oil resources in Japan,Australia, or the Philippines. Those areas do have military strategic value though.

If China gets frisky Japan could suffer terrible retribution for the atrocities it committed in WW2. Australia's natural resources are absolutely vital to the continued growth of China's manufacturing base.

If i could suggest something else: Most folks fall to either one side or the other of center. They tend to parrot the talking points of the party they're affiliated with without ever giving it any real thought. Those talking points aren't always correct.
